Andy Coolquitt: C0oOT opens Sept. 13 at McLennon Pen Co., marking the artist’s first solo show with the gallery. The exhibition brings together four bodies of work that transform textiles, clothing and found materials into compositions between painting, sculpture and performance. Coolquitt, who has been based in Austin since the 1990s, is known for exploring the relationship between objects and their environments.
