Robert Earl Keen will host a fundraising concert, Buc-ee’s Presents Robert Earl Keen and Friends: Applause for the Cause, on Wednesday, August 28, at Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels. The event will raise money for the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country in response to the July 4 flooding in Kerr County.
The benefit will feature performances by Keen and special guest Tyler Childers, as well as a trio set by Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall, and Jack Ingram. Additional artists include Cross Canadian Ragweed, Ryan Bingham, Randy Rogers, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Aaron Watson, Sarah Jarosz, and many others. Music begins mid-afternoon and continues late into the night, with doors opening at 3 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Friday, July 18, at noon CST through whitewaterrocks.com. Reserved seating is $200 and general admission is $99, with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Community Foundation. Attendees may also purchase and donate tickets for local first responders.
