Urban Roots, a non-profit dedicated to fostering youth leadership and promoting food equity in Austin, is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated annual spring event: Tour de Farm! Tour de Farm serves as a vibrant celebration of Urban Roots’ dedication to empowering youth leaders and advancing food access in Central Texas.
Guests will enjoy guided tours led by youth participants through Urban Roots’ South Austin farm, accompanied by tastings of fresh produce and signature beverages. The highlight of the evening will be a delightful spring-themed, family-style meal prepared by local chefs and paired with craft brews and enticing cocktails/mocktails.
In addition to the culinary experiences, the event will feature a raffle, live auction, and present community awards. Attendees will also have the opportunity to contribute to a Food Equity Vision Board, sharing their aspirations and ideas for enhancing food access in Central Texas.
