8 Adorable (and Affordable!) Hostess Gifts from Good Company Home

The fashion designer and Austin retailer offers suggestions for hostess gifts to take to your next housewarming or holiday party

Good Company Home

Mallary Carroll is making moves. The fashion designer and owner of Austin boutique Good Company recently opened a new home décor shop downtown on 12th Street. Good Company Home is stocked with gorgeous items including vintage and new furniture, rugs, glassware, pottery, gifts and accessories.

Shoppers will soon also get to check out Carroll’s upcoming apothecary line, which will include everything from scented candles to facial oils.

We asked Carroll, a fashion and design expert with more than 25 years of retail experience, about gift-giving. With the entertaining season right around the corner, Carroll has suggested eight beautiful and thoughtful products from her new shop that will make excellent host or hostess gifts. Everything she selected is under $100 so there’s no excuse to show up empty-handed at holiday or housewarming parties.

Carroll picked out luxurious scented candles, beautiful hand-carved wooden spoons from Tunisia for the kitchen or dining room, adorable and handy porcelain matchboxes and more. Any of these items would make your host happy and ensure you get invited back.

Check out Carroll’s full list below:
