Support Small Businesses at Austin’s Top Holiday Markets
With holiday festivities in full swing, these local events will help shoppers find gifts for everyone on their list

Still looking for the perfect Christmas or Hanukkah gift for a friend, family member or partner? Several holiday markets are being held around town to promote small businesses, artists and vendors within the Austin community. Make a visit to one of our favorite markets, listed below, to find a special something for a loved one — or a perfect gift to treat yourself!
Blue Genie Art Bazaar
Now through Dec. 24

Blue Genie’s seasonal Art Bazaar is already underway, and with approximately 200 artisans together under one roof, there’s something for every shopper. From bags to books to jewelry and more, attendees can find unique and affordable pieces that reflect their personal style. Entry is free for this annual crowd-pleasing event. Plus, if you’re out of town for the holiday season, you can still shop online and have locally-made items shipped to your door.
Hill Country Galleria’s Art Market
Weekends through Dec. 24
The Central Plaza at the Hill Country Galleria is hosting an arts market with an array of different vendors for shopping in a festive environment with live performances and bright lights. Guests can expect to find artisan jewelry, handmade goods, art and more at the Galleria. Take part in the holiday cheer with the whole community, and enjoy free parking and free admission.
Holiday Mini Market
Dec. 4

The 11th annual Holiday Mini Market will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4 at Distribution Hall in East Austin. The marketplace will include shops that support local women-owned businesses, gathered in one place to help attendees get all of their holiday shopping finished. Guests can also enjoy local music, gift bags, complimentary drinks, food trucks and more. Tickets are free of charge, but RSVPs are recommended. There will be free parking along the street and at a nearby garage.
The Front Market
Dec. 3, 4 & 10

Future Front, a non-profit that supports women and LGBTQ+ makers, will hold its seasonal market at Ani’s Day and Night. Austinites can bring their family, friends and dogs to this free event, which benefits Future Front’s many important programs. Participating vendors include Slow North, Sew ATX and WADADLI NATURALS, as well as food and drinks from Lyssie Lou’s Cookie Co., US Natural Wine and more. All tickets are free to reserve, and donations are encouraged.
Hotel San José Holiday Market
Dec. 10

Open from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, Hotel San José will showcase giftable items from local makers like Carrie Moss, Soul Studio and La Ropa Vintage in the hotel’s courtyard lounge. Food and drink specials will be available for guests to snack and sip on as they browse the goods and listen to music from DJ Sunset Canyon.
Hill Country Hoedown
Dec. 10–11
The Hill Country Hoedown, hosted by American Field, will bring more than 60 amazing outdoor brands to Distribution Hall on Dec. 10 and 11. On top of the many opportunities to find gifts for the outdoor enthusiasts in your life, the weekend will also include holiday cocktails, premium refreshments, holiday photo-ops, barbecue and country music. Tickets are available here. General admission is $10, but for a top-notch experience, grab a VIP spot for $100 and receive a package of gear worth $350.
Armadillo Christmas Bazaar
Dec. 17–23

The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is a tried-and-true destination for all of your last-minute shopping needs. With nearly 200 curated artists selling their creations, as well as a diverse lineup of live musicians, food from Southside Flying Pizza and two full bars, guests can find gifts for the art lovers in their lives as they browse around the Palmer Events Center. Be sure to purchase a day ticket or seasonal pass early as tickets for the bazaar always go fast.
