It is safe to say that Kevin Burns is NOT afraid of heights. Since founding Urbanspace in 2000, he has been the force behind many of the city’s most recognizable skyscrapers and developments, including the Independent, 44 East, and Seaholm, and is now developing Austin’s premier luxury condo tower, The Modern Austin Residences in the Rainey Street District. He has sold more condos than anyone else in Austin (verified by several other realtors in this guide who have worked with him over the years and fondly referred to him as “El Jefe” or “El Burnzo”), has sold well over $1 Billion in Austin real estate, and even sold out 98% of The Modern in a single week.

To Kevin, a perfect day in downtown would start with a coffee and end with dancing at The Codependent, a coffee and cocktail lounge he founded as a passion project while while selling out the Independent. After a walk on Lady Bird Lake trail, he suggests Sunday brunch at Yucatán-inspired Mexican restaurant, Bacalar (which he also founded), then a little shopping on Second Street. The day winds down with dinner at Uchiba, a show at Moody Theater or The Paramount, wrapping up with drinks at The Austin Proper.

With over thirty years in Austin, it makes sense for Erin to represent Clarksville, one of the longest-established neighborhoods in the city. Marked by its unique charm of historic homes and bungalows, Clarksville is a neighborhood that has stayed relatively the same, even through Austin’s extensive growth. One of Erin’s favorite things about it is the juxtaposition of the historic neighborhood with the vibrant Austin downtown skyline in the background. She loves the walkability to its incredible restaurants and bars, as well as the proximity of downtown. Clarksville’s beloved West End Park is where you can find many neighborhood-sponsored activities and events, like “Its My Park Day,” where neighbors can bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy local music and food while hanging out with family and friends. The area is about to undergo some exciting new projects, including a major transformation of the city block on W 6th and Blanco into a 5-story mixed-use retail, hotel, office and residences.

Erin’s approach to real estate includes personalized service, and – thanks to her artistic background and passion for architecture and design – incredible design sensibility to curate a lifestyle that aligns with her clients’ aspirations.

Tammy poses at neighborhood french bistro and market, Bureau De Posse & Tiny grocer in Hyde Park

As the founder of SEED Property Group in Austin, Tammy Young values genuine relationships and trust in real estate. There is no place she would rather live than Hyde Park, cherished for the people, charming historic houses, tree-lined streets, local businesses, parks, and walkability. Here, she’s not just a real estate broker; she’s a neighbor, a friend, a runner, an optimistic tennis player, and a mom, deeply immersed in the fabric of this unique pocket of our city.

Preserving Hyde Park’s charm amidst development is crucial to the community. She applauds creative initiatives like converting the old post office into a lively food market, showcasing the neighborhood’s innovative spirit. She loves how old houses have evolved with changing lifestyles but still stand the test of time. One of her recent success stories involved finding a client a classic bungalow seamlessly reimagined into a modern marvel by architect Michael Hsu. Tammy anticipates further development of the neighborhood as Central Austin grows, but is committed to preserving its rich historical charm. Her favorite spot is the Elisabet Ney museum, named for the renowned sculptor and 19th century women’s movement trailblazer. The limestone landmark displays the largest collection of Ney’s work.
