Austin kitchens are about to get a serious glow-up, thanks to Lowe’s. Austinites’ culinary dreams are coming to life as Lowe’s launches its in-store experience with the immersive Lowe’s Style Studio app for Apple Vision Pro.

Kitchen renovations used to be notorious for how painful they could be. From painstakingly picking out every last detail to being unsure of how it will all look at the end, you could never guarantee the risk would be worth the reward. Now, Lowe’s Style Studio is changing that and the future of kitchen visualization is here.

Gone are the days of searching through online images or flat 2D renderings. 3D truly allows you to see, explore and experiment in new ways that weren’t previously possible. The intuitive – and enjoyable – experience allows customers to design their dream kitchen in 3D with the latest technology and enhancements. Plus, the technology is all controlled by the intuitive input and gesture system of visionOS, which is easily controlled by your eyes and hands.

Start by exploring preset styles curated by Lowe’s professional designers. Then, customize your dream kitchen by swapping in and out hundreds of real-world materials, fixtures, and appliances (all available at Lowe’s stores and on Lowes.com) to fit your personal taste and family’s unique culinary needs. With nearly 80 billion possible combinations, every customer can create a kitchen inspiration that’s uniquely their own. Mock up a kitchen with different colors (including paint options from the HGTV HOME by Sherman Williams collection), finishes, and products with simple gaze-and-tap gestures until you reach perfection. Then, save your favorite combinations and turn them into professional-looking style boards. Finally, share those style boards with friends, family members, or designers who help bring them to life.

The experience was built in-house by Lowe’s Innovation Labs and core members of the Lowe’s mobile apps team. Lowe’s Style Studio is the next chapter in nearly a decade of Lowe’s Innovation Labs’ work in spatial computing, showcasing their innovation in both technology and home improvement. The company is committed to offering customers best-in-class tools and frictionless services, giving them a sense of confidence and delight in home improvement.

With the help of the Lowe’s Style Studio app, it’s never been easier to design your dream kitchen, but you don’t have to do it alone. With the new in-store experience, a Lowe’s associate will help each customer one-on-one in a complimentary, 45-minute consultation to guide them through the experience and ensure a completely personalized, tailored space. As the heart of the home, the kitchen should have a design that supports those that will use it on a daily basis. No two kitchens are the same.

Austinites are in luck. The Lowe’s Style Studio experience was previously only available in California, New York and North Carolina stores last summer during its trial run. But now, the experience will be available in Austin through June 15 at the Central Austin, Southwest Austin, Northwest Austin, Bee Cave and Marble Falls stores. Don’t delay, design darlings.

Customers can book their visualization session online. Lowe’s is also able to accommodate a limited number of walk-ins, as available, but booking ahead of time is recommended.
