Your new — or newly remodeled — home is complete, and you’ve never been more in love with a custom space that’s entirely your own. It’s time to move in and make it feel like home. But there’s one final step many homeowners overlook, despite the difference it can make: intentional unpacking and organizing. After all, a home works best when both your heart — and your belongings — are in the right place.

About Settled in Soundly

Here is where Settled In Soundly shines. Founded by Katie Clingman, the white-glove home organizing and unpacking boutique works closely with high-end architects, designers and builders to help clients fully settle into new or remodeled homes. The company steps in once construction is complete, handling everything from unpacking to customized organization so each space feels intentional, functional and truly move-in ready.

Settled In Soundly also serves as a value-add for design and build teams, collaborating early in the process to ensure storage and organization systems align with how homeowners actually live.

With thoughtful, well-curated organization systems in place, clients experience a reduced mental and physical workload, freeing up time to spend with family rather than managing clutter. These bespoke systems are designed for homeowners who value precision, beauty and peace of mind.

“It’s a finishing touch many people don’t even realize they need until the moment boxes start arriving,” said Clingman. “It makes the transition to their home a positive, memorable experience.”

The Settled in Soundly difference

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all organizing service. Clingman studied architecture and architectural engineering at the University of Texas at Austin as a Forty Acres Scholar before spending four years as a façade engineer with ARUP in Los Angeles. There, she worked on major projects, including the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Museum, developing a deep understanding of how spaces function at every level.

Today, she applies that design-forward perspective to professional organizing, creating custom 3D organization plans for every project.

“This unique process allows clients to visualize what their transformed space will look like before we begin onsite work, and speeds up the organization process,” said Clingman. “Our goal is to carry the design intent through the ‘final mile’ of the process and ensure that as soon as homeowners step through the door, their space feels polished, functional, and intuitively arranged.”

By approaching organization through an architectural lens, Settled In Soundly offers 3D visualizations, precise planning and seamless collaboration with design and construction teams. Having a detailed plan in place before arriving onsite allows the team to work efficiently, select the right products in advance and stay aligned with each client’s vision.

“Clients love the process because there are no surprises,” said Clingman. “And, their home is move-in ready in a matter of days!”
