Luxury brokerage also toasts a rebrand and adding Sotheby’s agents with $1.5B in career sales to agent portfolio

Everyone knows that real estate is as hot as the summer temperatures in Austin, and it’s just heating up. Thanks to the leadership of Christie’s International Real Estate | @properties Lone Star, Jerry W. Mooty, Jr., CEO & Principal, and Romeo Manzanilla, COO and Austin’s managing broker, the brokerage now has a stunning new Austin headquarters located in the heart of the city at 1105 North Lamar Blvd #100 – the previous Whole Foods corporate offices.

The firm celebrated its opening in style, as well as its rapid growth and success, with a reception on May 21. Attendees mixed and mingled while enjoying drinks, bites, live music by Brandon Allen, custom label cigar rolling, an art exhibit by local artist Umbreen Ahmad, and a pop-up activation with LoveWeld Permanent Jewelry with proceeds benefiting Helping Hand Home for Children.

But, it’s not just a new headquarters and exponential success that has the firm raising a glass. In a move that reflects both heritage and future-forward branding Christie’s International Real Estate | @properties Lone Star. This evolution affirms the brand’s continued alignment with one of the most prestigious names in global luxury real estate – Christie’s International Real Estate – while emphasizing its strong Texas roots and independent leadership with @properties Lone Star as its insignia. The rebranding includes the launch of a new logo and separating social media channels on IG for Austin – @christiesrealestate.atx and Dallas – @christiesrealestate.dfw.

The attraction to join Christie’s | Lone Star is noticeable, with an unprecedented wave of growth, adding 11 Sotheby’s agents with career sales of $1.5B since February 2025. The new Christie’s Lone Star agents include: Tarek Morshed & Brad Baker of The Morshed Group, Benée Arnold and Betsy Smith of The Eberly Team, and Patty Johns, Andrea Hamilton, Kim Loeffler, Linda Burns, Erin Sigler, Kacy Dolce and Kim Burke.
