Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse for an indulgent meal. Whether it’s a romantic dinner for two, a lively night out with friends, or a solo treat just because, Austin’s restaurants are setting the mood with special menus for the occasion. From elegant multi-course feasts to casual bites with festive cocktails, these spots are serving up something memorable on Feb. 14.

Hestia

Michelin-starred restaurant from Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, Hestia, is offering a eight-course Valentine’s Day menu. The dinner is priced at $225 per person, with an optional $135 wine pairing. Guests can also add a tabletop floral arrangement for $125. Reservations are available on OpenTable.

VanHorn’s

One of Austin’s best new restaurants, VanHorn’s offers a cozy, New York–inspired setting for Valentine’s Day, complete with red leather banquettes, low lighting and classic martinis. Alongside the regular chop house menu, Valentine’s specials will run all weekend, including a half rack of lamb with mint and confit carrots, filet Rossini with foie gras, truffle jus and creamed spinach, and lobster thermidor. Shokunin

For Valentine’s Day weekend, Shokunin, Scratch Restaurants’ newest concept is offering reservations Feb. 13–15 with the choice of its full a la carte menu or a 22-course omakase priced at $225 per person. Each reservation includes a complimentary glass of rosé sparkling wine per couple. Reservations are available online.

CARVE American Grille

CARVE American Grille is offering multiple ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day, including a three-course prix fixe menu on Feb. 13–14 featuring dishes like Wagyu meatloaf cupcakes, miso buttered salmon and lemon tart.  From Feb. 12-16, the Valentine’s candlelight dinner for two includes a 12-ounce filet mignon roast, lobster tails, sides and dessert. For a special-occasion dinner, Canje is offering a six-course Valentine’s Day experience built around a shared menu and specialty cocktails. The seafood-forward dinner is priced at $125 per person. Reservations are available via OpenTable.

Carpenter Hotel’s restaurant Carpenters Hall is offering a Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu available for one weekend only. The $70-per-person dinner includes a choice of starters such as stracciatella with strawberries or a pan-roasted crab cake, followed by options like smoked short rib, red snapper or truffle risotto, and finished with raspberry cheesecake. Valentine’s-only shareables and à la carte bites will also be available, along with optional add-ons like lobster tail, shaved truffle and chocolate fondue with strawberries. Jupiter Supper Club

For those looking for a sophisticated, plant-based Valentine’s dinner, a five-course menu from Jupiter Supper Club is available for $115, with an upgraded option ($145) that includes reserved seating for late-night entertainment. Prefer a la carte? Two Nova Lounge seatings pair dinner with live music, while the Cocktail Lounge and Clock Bar offer a looser format with cocktails, small plates and full-service dining. Birdie’s

Birdie’s is bringing back its fan-favorite red sauce concept, Aiello’s, as part of a February prix fixe menu inspired by Chef Tracy’s Italian-American roots. The six-course dinner is $79 per person and features highlights like maccheroni alla vodka and Nonna’s meatballs, with optional add-ons including mozzarella sticks and spaghetti with caviar. The counter-service spot does not take reservations; guests line up to order.

L’Oca d’Oro

From Feb. 13–14, the Mueller favorite is bringing back its music-themed Valentine’s dinner for two, served family-style. This year’s concept—1976 vs. 2026—plays with past and future food trends, featuring an eclectic spread of starters, shared mains and desserts, from mozzarella with red curry and tater tots with hollandaise to malfadine with smoked brisket and a lineup of playful sweets. This Valentine’s Day, Olamaie presents a prix fixe menu crafted by Chef Michael Fojtasek and Amanda Turner, priced at $150 per person. At this buzzy East Austin date-night staple, Juniper is serving a Valentine’s Day menu that blends contemporary Italian cooking with Texas ingredients. Sushi | Bar Austin is marking Valentine’s Day with a limited-time, 17-course omakase experience centered on musubi. Priced at $265 per person, the evening includes a welcome glass of Champagne, seasonal nigiri and composed courses accented with truffles, A5 wagyu and caviar, plus an intimate ritual where couples exchange written commitments tied with a musubi knot. The Westin Austin Downtown’s new seafood restaurant, Skipjack Oyster, is offering a Valentine’s Day prix fixe dinner for two featuring a three-course menu and raw bar spread. The $175 dinner includes naked and dressed oysters with caviar, a seasonal salad, a choice of Beef Wellington or miso-glazed seabass, and a chocolate strawberry gâteau. Couples who book on Feb. 14 will be automatically entered to win a hot air balloon ride for two, with an optional dozen roses add-on available for $80.

This Valentine’s Day weekend Loudmouth is offering a special prix fixe menu for two priced at $65, with 50% off bottles of wine for guests participating in the special. The three-course dinner includes a shared Lyonnaise salad to start, a choice of pasta per guest—potato gnocchi or tagliatelle with beef bolognese—and finishes with a shared strawberry tiramisu. Duck confit is available as an add-on. Reservations are recommended.
