What to Expect: Join us in celebrating the September | October 2025 TRIBEZA Architecture Issue at The Contemporary Austin – Laguna Gloria — a place where history, art and nature converge in stunning harmony.
Editor-in-Chief, Heidi Okla, shares:
“To honor the rich tapestry of Austin’s architectural legacy, I chose to include Laguna Gloria in this issue because, to me, it is more than a location — it’s a living tribute to the enduring beauty of place, preservation and possibility. Once the vision of Clara Driscoll, who sought to bring a touch of Lake Como to Texas, this Mediterranean-style villa and its surrounding gardens speak to both the romance of old-world design and the bold creativity that defines Austin today.”
Tours of the Betty and Edward Marcus Sculpture Park at Laguna Gloria will be offered at 6:00pm and 7:00pm. Light bites will be provided by Spread & Co. and complimentary cocktails and refreshments will be served.
