Social Hour: Ty Haney Hosts Joggy Launch Party with a Fun Run in Austin

Ty Haney celebrates the debut of her new energy drink with a scenic run

Ty Haney, the entrepreneur and founder of Outdoor Voices, recently introduced her latest innovation, the Joggy Sparkling Energy Drink, to retail stores. To celebrate this launch, a special event was held at Foxtrot‘s S. 1st St. location in Austin on October 21. We joined the event, where we tried the delicious (and perfectly energizing) Joggy drink before taking off on a three-mile group jog. Ty led us down to the Lady Bird Lake Trail and back up the hill.

Back at Foxtrot, we were greeted with some of their delicious breakfast fare, including avocado toast, matcha chia pudding, and acai bowls. Each participant also got to take home a swag bag full of Foxtrot snacks, a Joggy hat, and a four-back of Joggy energy drinks.

The Joggy team is based in Austin, and the energy drink is currently offered exclusively at Foxtrot. The event offered a unique experience for attendees, blending fitness, refreshments, and a chance to meet the founder herself. When we chatted with Ty, she was excited to share her new venture.

“The mission here is to get people moving to maximize happiness,” she said. “I had been drinking Red Bulls and Celsius is and then double-clicked on the ingredients and was like, this isn’t good for us — it won’t work long-term. So, I worked with a group of Austin scientists to determine the most clean-burning or premium plant-based caffeine. And that’s what’s in Joggy.”

Overall, the Ty Haney Joggy Launch Party Fun Run celebrated entrepreneurship, fitness, and innovation, allowing participants to experience Ty Haney’s latest creation and enjoy a fun and active day with fellow fitness enthusiasts.
