With events and gathering’s safely ramping up as the summer season approaches, music fans will have plenty of concerts to add to their calendars.

Case in point: From May 27 through September 9, The Long Center for the Performing Arts and ACL Radio are bringing 16 acts to Austin for a free, outdoor concert series dubbed The Drop-In.

Bob Schneider, Gina Chavez, Jonathan Terrell, Kalu & the Electric Joint Unplugged, Ley Line, Los Coast, The Los Sundowns, Mélat, Nakia, Nobody’s Girl, The Peterson Brothers, Riders Against the Storm, Ruby Jane, Tomar and the FCs, Walker Lukens and Wild Child Duo are all listed as performers at The Drop-In.

The concerts, sponsored by Austin Subaru, will take place every Thursday at the Long Center’s H-E-B Terrace.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the shows will start at 8 p.m. Seating will be first come, first served for groups of two to six people. To attend, fans must reserve tickets on the Monday before each show. Sign up here to receive a notification to RSVP.

Wellness checks will be made upon entry into the venue and masks will be required except while eating and drinking from The Drop-In Bar, which will offer beverages from Michelob Ultra, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Truly Hard Seltzer and more
