Christie’s Brings World-Renowned Art to Austin
View a curated assortment of post-war, contemporary, and Latin American art during this temporary residency
The prestigious international auction house, Christie’s, has brought a curated assortment of post-war, contemporary, and Latin American art to Austin for a temporary residency at The Loren Hotel (1211 West Riverside Drive). Artwork will be on display for just three days from Tuesday, September 12 through Thursday, September 14 with select hours open to the public.
“Christie’s continues to celebrate our commitment to long-standing relationships with collectors and institutions in Texas with a pop up exhibition in Austin,” shares Deputy Chairman of Christie’s, Capera Ryan.
You can view work from such artists as Keith Haring, Frank Stella, Roy Lichtenstein, and Houston-based artist Rick Lowe, among others.
This special exhibition notes Christie’s commitment to offering regional residency initiatives across the United States. President of Christie’s Americas, Bonnie Brennan states, “Through each phase of our regional residency initiative, we not only extend our reach across the Americas but also nurture enduring connections with clients spanning multiple generations.”
