H Mart Hosts First-Ever Market Eatery Festival This Weekend
Enjoy free food tastings, 99 cent beers, live music and more on August 3
H Mart has taken over the Asian food market industry since its humble Queens, New York beginnings in 1982. It’s now the largest Asian supermarket chain in America and we’re lucky enough to have a store in our very own backyard. Located 20 minutes north of downtown on Lakeline and Research Boulevard, H Mart is hosting their first annual Market Eatery Festival on August 3. You can expect free food tasting, 99 cent beers, face painting, nail art, shopping discounts and live music the whole dang time. H Mart’s food vendors will be serving up tasty dishes like bibimbap bowls, pot stickers and Sno Ice along with Sapporo Premium Light beer and Korean wines.

In addition to unique sips and bites, the event will also feature a raffle benefiting Kids in a New Groove, a non-profit dedicated to mentoring Central Texas children in foster care specifically through music lessons. In the past four years 100% of Kids in a New Groove high school seniors have graduated, compared to a national average of 47% amongst foster care youth.
Come early and stay late at this years epic Asian food festival and perfect addition to the ever-expanding Austin food scene. This family-friendly event is free and kicks off at 11 a.m.
