Located just 25 minutes from downtown Austin, Lakeway Resort and Spa is one of the more family-friendly options available. Kids have their own dedicated pool, home to a water slide and splash pad, while adults can relax at the adults only pool, which features a swim-up bar overlooking beautiful Lake Travis. Adult day passes start at $30, while kid day passes start at $20. To get a more over-the-top experience, book a cabana, starting at $300 for a group of six.

Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt
605 Davis St.
Create your own poolside experience at the Van Zandt, with options ranging from a typical day pass ($34 for adults, $15 for kids) to the Ultimate Cabana pass, which includes passes for up to 30 people and a private shaded cabana. We love this spot for their poolside food and drink service from Geraldine’s, the hotel’s signature Texas-inspired restaurant.

W Hotels

This one’s for the party people! The W Austin’s WET Deck, located on the hotel’s fourth floor, offers its day passes Sundays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Each ticket could include a spontaneous poolside party, with specialty cocktails flowing all day long. Look into renting a multi-guest cabana or bungalow for an upgraded swim experience with friends.
