TRIBEZA Announces Second Call for Curators Honoring Austin’s Cultural Leaders

Update: The nomination process has ended, and all submissions are being reviewed. Curators will be notified no later than August 1st, and the announcement of the class of Curators will be included in the November/December TRIBEZA magazine issue as well as on this website.

TRIBEZA is thrilled to announce the return of our Curators initiative, celebrating influential locals who are weaving the threads of our unique and extraordinary city. Now in its second year, the series will once again spotlight the cultural voices shaping Austin — culminating in a celebratory event this fall.

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural class, whose members continue to do incredible things across the city, we’re proud to officially open nominations for a new group of TRIBEZA Curators to be celebrated towards the end of the year.

TRIBEZA Curators represent the beautiful diversity of what makes this city tick. From creatives and chefs to mixologists, philanthropists, designers, entrepreneurs and notable citizens, these individuals embody the heartbeat of our city.

Sharing an insiders’ perspective

Once selected, these Curators will sit down with TRIBEZA’s editorial team to share their expertise on the hidden gems of this ever-evolving city. Each Curator will craft their own list of favorite local restaurants, bars, shops and cultural spots that capture the city’s lively spirit. 

Think of it as the ultimate Austin insiders’ guide.

This special series will continue to live on Tribeza.com/curators as an evolving love letter to our city, to serve as a resource for locals and visitors alike who want to experience Austin through the eyes of the people who make it so special.

The celebration of TRIBEZA Curators

Last November, our inaugural class of Curators gathered at Green Pastures for a celebration of their cultural excellence and influence. As we select the next class of Curators, plans for this year’s celebration will be announced soon.
