From Austin to Smithsonian

Earlier this summer, we attended a ceremony in the Hill Country honoring Austin’s Sir Zoltan David, a prolific jewelry designer and craftsman (and yes, a Hungarian knight!), whose “Iris” moonstone necklace was acquired by the Smith-sonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. The stunning piece will be part of their permanent collection and the centerpiece of the moonstone exhibit. If you find yourself in our nation’s capital in 2018 (or later), be sure to go take a look.
