“What the Constitution Means to Me”

When playwright Heidi Schreck was a teenager, she traveled around the country participating in Constitutional debate competitions to help fund her college tuition. In this Pulitzer Prize-nominated play, Schreck traces her family’s maternal history, weaving in the story of her own abortion, her mother’s abuse, and her great-great-grandmother’s mental health issues — all while highlighting who the Constitution does and does not protect.

13th Annual Mack, Jack & McConaughey

Mack, Jack & McConaughey (MJ&M) is the annual joint fundraising effort of Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey, ACM Award-winning recording artist Jack Ingram, and coaching legend Mack Brown. The two-day fun-filled event offers music at the gala featuring Eric Church, golf and a fashion show benefiting select non-profit organizations that each reflect the MJ&M goal to empower kids.
