Women’s Symphony League of Austin to Host ‘Lone-Star Studded Style’ Fashion Luncheon

Join this fashion-focused fundraiser featuring guest speakers: Loreal Sarkisian, Lela Rose, and Katie Kime

Block off your Friday calendar and gather your girl gang for on of Austin’s premiere fashion events — the Women’s Symphony League’s 2023 Fashion Luncheon. This year’s event takes place on Friday, September 15 at the Hilton Austin (500 E. 4th Street) and features the theme, “Lone Star-Studded Style”. Guests can enjoy a runway show featuring inspiration from Texas’ diverse fashion scene. Additionally, this year’s program includes a panel of three local fabulous favorite women of style: Loreal Sarkisian, Lela Rose, and Katie Kime.

The luncheon and program begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by the Tour of Texas Fashion Show featuring many beautifully curated looks by a variety of vendors including Lela Rose, Mignonne Gavigan, Buru, The Garden Room, and many others. Additionally, the ballroom area will be abuzz with a marketplace full of shopping opportunities for guests.

Tickets for this chic event are open to the public and will benefit the Austin Symphony Orchestra and its many educational opportunities for children and the community. Youth program include such events at the ASO’s annual Young People’s Concerts which introduce children in the fourth to sixth grades to the wonders of symphonic music, or Tuneful Tales (formerly Children’s Day Art Park), which includes a partnership with the Austin Public Library to allow free access for young children and adults to experience the magic of the performing arts.

Founded in 1953, the members of WSL give more than 15,000 volunteer hours annually to educational and fundraising projects, reaching over 50,000 area children every year. Since 2000, WSL has donated more than $6.2 million to the Austin Symphony Orchestra and remains the Symphony’s largest annual contributor.
