We had Midland’s “On the Rocks” on repeat all year and were lucky enough to sit down with the trio. Cameron, Mark and Jess shared their favorite haunts in Dripping Springs and Austin.

Zane Wilemon from Ubuntu is working to raise up a community in Kenya. The mission and the artisan goods produced by their “maker mums” are one-of-a-kind and had us going espadrille crazy.

Reid Umstattd was a stand-out on season 14 of NBC’s The Voice. The 6th generation Austinite was blown away by the local support he received. Easy to imagine that Umstattd has good things ahead.
