Austin Social Hour: Pease Park Kingsbury Commons Groundbreaking

Pease Park Conservancy was thrilled to host the ceremonial groundbreaking of Kingsbury Commons on October 16 in the heart of Pease Park. As neighbors listened in on speeches from Texas State Senator Kirk Watson, Austin Mayor Steve Adler and more, this exciting event kicked off the construction phase of Kingsbury Commons to revitalize the lower 10 acres of Pease Park, dramatically enhancing the visitors’ experience, sustaining the park’s ecology and increasing park capacity.
