Austin Social: Jo’s Chili Cook-Off

Jo’s Coffee held its 14th annual Chili Cook-Off on February 9 on South Congress Avenue, where amateur and professional culinary talent turned up the heat for the top spot, won by Buckeye on the Bayou. Food lovers filled their bowls while enjoying live music and a two-steppin’ competition, all benefiting nonprofit Urban Roots, which uses farming to transform the lives of young people.
