Susan G. Komen, the world’s leading breast cancer foundation, hosted its annual Austin Big Pink Gala at The Bullock Texas State History Museum on Friday, March 22, 2024, to raise critical funds for those impacted by breast cancer in the Austin area and beyond. The evening was filled with high-rolling glitz and glamour, with appearances from Austin’s community leaders, business partners, philanthropists, and supporters dedicated to upholding Komen’s mission to create a world without breast cancer.

Guests enjoyed a fun and glamorous casino night experience with both a live and silent auction, with all proceeds going toward Komen’s patient care services, resources for breast cancer survivors, and care for those currently in treatment. This year’s event raised $366,820 for Komen.

“As a survivor, this cause is deeply personal to me, and I am grateful for Komen’s continued efforts to fund research and provide resources to assist survivors like me as well as those currently in treatment,” said gala chair Stacey Napier. “This event has an incredible legacy of raising critical funds to reduce mortality, offering support to patients, and funding the research that will one day end breast cancer, and we are proud to continue this legacy.”
