The Kindness Campaign Celebrates 10 Years With Annual Art of Kindness Gala + Community Day
Founded in 2015 by CEO Andra Liemandt, The Kindness Campaign marks a deacade of service with an exciting weekend of events

On April 10, The Kindness Campaign celebrated their 10th Annual Art of Kindness Gala presented by BK Beauty and raised $600,000 for the Non-Profit. The event, held at Austin PBS, was co-chaired by Stephanie Coultress O’Neill and Todd O’Neill and Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima were Master of Ceremonies. Kevin Hines, who famously survived a suicide attempt when he jumped from the Golden Gate Bridge in 2000, shared his story of survival.
The Kindness Campaign Community Day
Later in the weekend, TKC celebrated their annual Community Day on Sunday, April 13 at Branch Park Pavillion in Mueller. The Community Day is a day of kindness, connection, and community. Emceed by the amazing Melissa Baker, the event was attended by nearly 600 people and was filled with fun, engaging activities, and entertainment for all ages. Including, live music from ZACH Theatre, live acting performance by KidsActing, Bollywood dance by Sunrise Dance, family yoga with ATX Yoga Girl and a high-energy dance party with Enoughie Buddy®.
The Community Day fosters community and brings neighbors together with a reading Nook with free books to take home , an animal petting zoo from Tiny Tails to You, balloon art, face painting, hair braiding and face gems and instrument petting zoo from Strait Music. Patrons had the opportunity to meet UT Athletes from Texas One Fund for football signings & playtime with kids and enjoyed fun booth offerings from Baylor Scott & White Health, Toybrary, Alpha, Carlson Law Firm, and other incredible TKC partners.
The Kindness Campaign provides emotional health tools that have a profound impact of emotional health on society. To date they have served over 300,000 kids with programs spanning providing kits with emotional health tools to classrooms across the nation to their Magic Mirror and Kind Leadership initiatives.
The Kindness Campaign was founded in 2015 by CEO Andra Liemandt after tragedy struck a dear friend’s family. Teaming up with teachers, creatives, and other experts in the field of emotional health, Andra founded The Kindness Campaign®, a nonprofit focused on teaching social-emotional learning skills in fun, engaging ways.
