The San Antonio Spurs will bring three regular-season games to Moody Center during the 2026-27 season, the most since the team launched its I-35 Series in 2023. The Austin slate includes matchups against the Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies and Denver Nuggets.

The series begins Oct. 23, when the Spurs host the Rockets during Formula 1 weekend. The team will return to Austin during its annual Rodeo Road Trip to face the Grizzlies on Feb. 26 and the Nuggets on Feb. 28.

“The energy around Spurs basketball continues to grow, and the 2026-27 season gives us another opportunity to build on that momentum,” RC Buford, CEO of Spurs Sports & Entertainment, said in a recent statement. “San Antonio is home, and we’re looking forward to bringing our community together while reaching audiences in Austin, Paris and Manchester.”

The Austin opener comes three days after the Spurs tip off their season at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Oct. 20 at Frost Bank Center. The Oct. 23 matchup also falls during one of Austin’s busiest weekends of the year as Formula 1 fans arrive for the United States Grand Prix.

How to get tickets

The February games will bring another long-standing Spurs tradition to Austin. Each year, the team leaves San Antonio during the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo for its Rodeo Road Trip. In 2027, that stretch will include the two Moody Center matchups against Memphis and Denver.

Austin is one part of a season that will also take the Spurs overseas. The team will face the New Orleans Pelicans on Jan. 14 at Accor Arena in Paris and again Jan. 17 at Co-op Live in Manchester. The Spurs last played in Paris during the 2024-25 season, while the Manchester matchup will mark a new stop on the franchise’s international schedule.

The Spurs will also travel to New York on Christmas Day for a rematch of the 2025-26 NBA Finals against the Knicks. The team has 34 nationally televised games on its 2026-27 regular-season schedule.
