San Antonio Spurs Celebrate ‘Spurs Week’ in Austin Ahead of Third Annual I-35 Series
A week of community events, including a block party, a pregame tailgate and more, leads up to the I-35 Series at Moody Center

The San Antonio Spurs returns to Austin with their signature celebration “Spurs Week,” a community-focused series of events leading up to the third annual I-35 Series, presented by Alienware and Netspend. From Feb. 16 to Feb. 21, the week will feature fan engagement activities, community initiatives and interactive experiences, culminating in back-to-back games at Moody Center.
“Our Austin fanbase is stronger than ever, and we can’t wait for the warm welcome back to Moody Center for the third year in a row,” said Brandon James, senior vice president of strategic growth at Spurs Sports & Entertainment in a recent press release. “Through fan engagement, community impact efforts, and teaming up with local businesses, Spurs Week is an opportunity to spotlight this incredible city and the fans who increasingly embrace our team as their own.”
The highlight of Spurs Week is the two-game series at Moody Center, where the Spurs will take on the Phoenix Suns on Thursday, Feb. 20, and the Detroit Pistons on Friday, Feb. 21. Fans attending the Feb. 21 game get access to a free postgame concert by Austin-based musician Shakey Graves. Both games offer special ticket packages, including the “Black Out T-shirt” package for Feb. 20 and a “Pregame Party Package” for Feb. 21.
