Estilo KIDS Opens in Tarrytown

We catch up with founder Stephanie Coultress O’Neill, the entrepreneur behind all three Estilo stores in Austin

Estilo KIDS opened its doors in Tarrytown last month, joining Estilo boutique and Estilo men’s as a premier local shopping destination — this time, for children.

Founder Stephanie Coultress O’Neill has owned Estilo boutique, a onetop shop for women’s casual clothes and elegant evening wear, for 18 years. The entrepreneur later opened Estilo men’s in 2020 to complement the popular and fashion-forward women’s boutique with sleek men’s styles. Both stores offer well-curated, stylish clothing for men and women, and with the addition of Estilo KIDS in Tarrytown’s Casis Village, the fashionable line-up of Estilo stores can now outfit the whole family.

“The community has been so excited to have a space to shop for kids and with kids,” says Coultress O’Neill after one month of business at Estilo KIDS. “It’s been so fun to see this space become a destination for kids and tweens.”

“Estilo” translates to “style” in Spanish, and each store encourages shoppers to find their own style and confidence. Featured items and brands at the children’s shop include boys’ polos and tees from johnnie-O, sparkly clothing from Lola and the Boys and skirts and dresses from KatieJ.

“My dream was to have a fun space that could go to and find things for themselves,” adds Coultress O’Neill. “I love their excitement when they walk in the door and see all of the fun options just for them.”

Estilo KIDS also carries gifts for babies, along with items for matching “Mommy and Me” looks. The new shop offers gift wrapping services to complete the experience.

The store will host events such as book readings by children’s book authors throughout the year and a fashion show for back-to-school clothing in September. Estilo KIDS celebrated its grand opening with a Cinco de Mayo launch party featuring flower crown-making, piñatas and a mariachi band.

Coultress O’Neill looks forward to providing retail therapy to more and more customers as they visit each of her stores.

“I have loved growing my business with the community needs as I see them,” says the owner. “It’s amazing to live and work in a community that allows me to live my dream. I’m so grateful.”

Estilo KIDS is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. For more information on all three boutiques, visit the Estilo website here.
