The Texas Campaign for the Environment will host its 16th Annual Trash Makeover Challenge on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 5:30 p.m. at the TDS Event Pavilion & Wildlife Ranch, where designers will transform repurposed materials into runway-ready looks inspired by this year’s “Cosmic Couture” theme. The sustainable fashion show requires at least 90% of each outfit to be made from repurposed materials and will feature Emmy Award-winning journalist Jala Washington as host, with proceeds supporting environmental advocacy.
