This Thursday, May 23, from 6 – 8 PM, Austin Marriott Downtown’s Rye Bar will host its first Barrels and Bites tasting experience (rescheduled from 4/18). Guests are invited to sample diverse whiskey flavors, choosing from a selection of premium blends from around the world, and learn about each whiskey’s history, production, and best ways to savor it. The experience, led by expert bartenders, includes one-ounce tastings of Spot Whiskey, Yellow Spot 12 Year, Nikka, Yoichi, Wilderness Trail, and Barrell Dovetail and will be paired with bites from the hotel’s restaurant, Corinne, including Oysters Rockefeller, filet mignon, tartare, and crab croquettes.
