The Blanton Museum of Art will host B Scene: Buffering Reality on Friday, July 24, from 7-11 p.m., celebrating the closing of “Run the Code: Data-Driven Art.”
The early-aughts-inspired evening invites guests to embrace digital-age nostalgia with electronic music, interactive art and tech-themed activities throughout the museum. The event will feature music by synth-pop duo Night Drive and DJ Ian Orth, a one-night-only pop-up print exhibition, a gallery scavenger hunt, algorithm-based artmaking, a video rental store-inspired experience with We Luv Video, a Y2K costume contest and more.
Early bird tickets are $25 for the general public and $15 for Blanton members.
