Ballet Afrique will present Duke Ellington’s “Nutcracker Suite” on Dec. 15 at the Paramount Theatre, reimagining the holiday classic through the music and atmosphere of the Harlem Renaissance. The production features an Austin-based cast and incorporates jazz influences, tap, live vocals and interactive elements for audiences of all ages.
