Bat Fest returns to the Congress Avenue Bridge on Sept. 5 for its 20th anniversary celebration. The festival will feature live music from Sheck Wes, Wild Child, Ben Kweller, Mélat and more, along with a bat costume contest, children’s activities and performances from the Austin Bats basketball and dance teams. The event leads into the nightly flight of Austin’s Mexican free-tailed bats, which typically begins between 7 and 8:45 p.m.
General admission tickets are $15 in advance, and children 10 and younger are free with an adult.
