The award-winning East Austin restaurant from Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, Canje, will host its third annual Block Party on Monday, May 26, from 4 to 9 p.m. The free event will feature signature dishes from local and national guest chefs, specialty cocktails, and live music to celebrate the start of summer.
Chef Tavel Bristol-Joseph, executive chef and partner at Canje, will be joined by guest chefs Ashleigh Shanti of Good Hot Fish (Asheville), Ian Corral of Mezquite (San Antonio), and Grace Aguilar of Five O Four (Austin). Each chef will serve one featured dish during the event. Music will be provided by DJ Jamie Dred and the All the Vibes crew, and Canje’s bar team will offer signature cocktails available for purchase. Food and drink tickets will be sold on-site for $12 each and can be redeemed for one dish or beverage.
