Canje, Austin’s award-winning modern Caribbean restaurant, and The Dead Rabbit, the world’s most awarded Irish pub, are joining forces for a one-night-only event on Sunday, April 13 from 4–10 p.m. at Canje.
Supported by Bacardi Rum and Ilegal Mezcal, this special evening honors the deep, intertwined histories of Irish and Caribbean cultures, reflected in both flavors and storytelling. The menu features inventive mashups like Rum Batter Fish and Yucca Chips, Guinness Pepperpot Hand Pies, West Indian Spice Bags, and more—all inspired by the culinary and cultural fusion born from Irish immigration to the Caribbean.
Guests can expect a live DJ, flash tattoos, and a dynamic lineup of special cocktails crafted just for the evening. While admission is free with RSVP via Eventbrite, food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the night.
