The Junior League of Austin has launched its 39th annual Coats for Kids drive, a cherished Central Texas tradition that provides more than 30,000 warm coats to local children and teens in need. Community members are invited to donate gently used or new coats, contribute $20 toward a new coat or volunteer their time to help sort and distribute donations.
The Community Coat Drive Competition runs Nov. 11–Dec. 1, with schools, businesses and organizations encouraged to participate. Coats can be dropped off at any Jack Brown Cleaners location.
