Das Festival of Kendall is a FREE community festival held Father’s Day Weekend on the Main Plaza in downtown Boerne.
Parade Saturday morning, food and craft booths, kids area, dachshund races, watermelon eating contest, plus live music Friday/Saturday/Sunday night featuring Two Tons of Steel, Patsy Torres, Ruben V, Toman Brothers Band, Lacy Brinson, Kristen Foreman (SXSW artist), Matt Kirk & Sylvia Kirk, Sonic Radio, Joe Panther Band, Lost Mule Band and the Boerne Village Band (founded in 1860 and the oldest continuous German band in the World outside of Germany).
