Austin-based multi-instrumentalist, artist, record producer & owner of Same Sky Productions, David Messier, announced the latest project under his new alter ego, David Starbuckle – “Bang! It’s David Starbuckle,” an album and accompanying film experience.
The album will be officially released Friday, Sept. 27, but the evening before, on Thursday, Sept. 26, there will be a special premiere of “Bang! It’s David Starbuckle: The Movie” at AFS Cinema from 6 – 9 p.m. There will be a reception in the lobby at 6 p.m. featuring a Texas-style red carpet before the screening at 7 p.m. Following the screening there will be a Q&A with the film’s producers hosted by Austin-based musician and “How Did I Get Here?” podcast host Johnny Goudie.
