“Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol” brings a musical take on Dickens’ classic to the stage on Nov. 27 at 5 p.m. Set in 1930s East Tennessee, the story reimagines Ebenezer Scrooge as a mining company owner whose Christmas Eve encounters with three ghosts prompt a change of heart. The national touring production features music and lyrics by Dolly Parton.
