HOPE Outdoor Gallery, Austin’s ever-evolving art park and one of the city’s most recognizable creative landmarks, is officially reopening over Thanksgiving weekend at its new home near the airport. The public launch will run Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., debuting a sprawling outdoor campus with mural walls, open park space and a 6,000-square-foot gallery and event venue.
More than 30 artists — including Miles Starkey, Emily Ding, Kimie Flores, Bradford Maxfield, Daddy Otis, Matt Tru, Wiley Ross and many others — will help introduce the site’s first round of large-scale works. The new iteration, supported by a major sponsorship from The Nouns DAO Community, continues HOPE’s legacy of public paint walls, on-site creative experiences and community-driven art education.
Visitors can also expect a coffee bar, snacks, adult beverages, a retail shop with exclusive HOPE merchandise and an art supply store. The all-ages destination will shift to winter hours after opening weekend, operating Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The art park is free to the public and available for private event rentals.
