Verdant Gallery presents the opening of two solo exhibitions: Hunter Ash’s “Valleys Made High and Andrew Long’s “Returning Home, The Quiet of Undoing”. Ash’s new abstract painting series offers spaces of comfort and wonder. Inspired by the imagery in Isaiah 40, each painting hints at a natural landscape as both something we inhabit and something continually changing. Long’s paintings explore unfettered boundaries and the permission to wander in and out of abstraction, form, color as well as organic representation and beauty. The results are two exhibitions of works that are colorful, playful, and resonate with deep emotion.
Both exhibits will be on view through November 22nd.
