March 30, 2025 | 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

What

On Sunday, March 30, from 2 to 3:30 PM, the Laguna Gloria Amphitheater will host a compelling afternoon conversation between Raven Halfmoon, an internationally acclaimed Indigenous artist, and Candice Hopkins, the Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Forge Project, a Native-led non-profit organization that cultivates and advances Indigenous leadership in arts and culture. To celebrate Halfmoon’s newly installed sculpture at Laguna Gloria, titled Flagbearer, the pair will explore Halfmoon’s artistic practice and current exhibition, followed by an audience Q&A. As an Oklahoma-based artist, this marks the first time Halfmoon’s work will be shown in Texas and immersed in nature.

General admission tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors, students, educators, and military service members (with ID), and free for those under 18. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For members, an exclusive pre-event reception called Member Moment will be held in the historic Driscoll Villa at 1 PM, featuring a complimentary champagne bar sponsored by Blurred Vines, Topo Chico refreshments, and light bites. Member tickets include free access to both the reception and the main conversation.
