The KMFA Offbeat concert series will show performances by Walsh, Aida Shirazi, Hunter Prueger and Louis Raymond-Kolker; the American premiere of “The Messenger” by legendary theatrical composer Georges Aperghis; and reimagined classics including Laurie Anderson’s “O Superman” and Memphis Minnie’s “When the Levee Breaks,” uniquely crafted with the Bitklavier — an experimental digital piano tool never before applied to percussion.
