Meanwhile Brewing Co. celebrates Austin’s diverse literary scene with the return of their highly anticipated event, Lagers & Literature. With the third edition of their annual book fair, Meanwhile Brewing Co. seeks to support literacy among adults and the community. During the event inside the taproom, $1 from the sale of each Meanwhile Pilsner will be donated to Inside Books Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing books and educational materials to the incarcerated. Lagers and Literature will take place in Meanwhile’s beer garden. This event is open to all ages and free to the public.

In addition to an amazing lineup of vendors, Feels So Good will host a screen printing station from 10 AM to 12 PM with limited edition Lagers & Literature tote bags for $7, featuring poster artwork by local comic artist, Ashley Robin Franklin. Limited quantities are available, so guests should plan to arrive early. Thinkery, Austin’s premiere children’s museum, will be onsite with a button-making activity for kids. Guests can also participate in zine making with Lone Star Zine Fest, create custom book press coasters with Austin Book Arts Center, and receive customized poems from the writers of Typewriter Rodeo. Austin Public Library will also be onsite with their Bookmobile, a mobile library. DJ Tropicana Joe will play a vinyl set from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
