Carpenter is the acclaimed winemaker behind some of Napa Valley’s most prestigious wineries, including Cardinale, Lokoya, La Jota Vineyard Co., Mt. Brave, and Caladan, as well as Hickinbotham in South Australia’s McLaren Vale and Jett in Walla Walla.
Ackerman has earned a reputation for taming Napa Valley’s mountain tannins and producing legendary Cabernet Sauvignon. Working closely with vineyard teams, he brings out the unique character of each vineyard block, resulting in wines of elegance, depth, mountain-driven character, and historic pedigree.
