What

Seguin-based artist Sylvia Benitez presents “The Way Back,” an exhibition of imagined landscapes inspired by the shifting moods of Central and South Texas. Working from memory rather than direct observation, Benitez creates scenes that capture the region’s familiar yet mercurial character. The exhibition is on view Sept. 12 through Oct. 4, with an opening reception Sept. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m.
