What

Ivester Contemporary celebrates the opening of two solo exhibitions: Regina Durante Jestrow’s “Strips, Stripes, Pieces, Parts” and Christine Garvey’s “Parlour Tricks.” Jestrow uses dyed, painted and collected textiles to explore color, geometry and movement, while Garvey draws on mythology and 19th-century stage magic to examine womanhood and motherhood. Both exhibitions remain on view through Oct. 17.
