The Paramount Theatre’s Panic at the Paramount series will present a double feature Oct. 29, hosted by filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, featuring John Carpenter’s 1978 classic “Halloween” and a surprise second film selected by Rodriguez himself.
The evening will kick off with “Halloween,” starring Jamie Lee Curtis in her breakout role as Laurie Strode, alongside Donald Pleasence and P.J. Soles. Before the screening, Rodriguez will introduce the film and share behind-the-scenes stories from Carpenter’s iconic slasher.
Following the screening, audiences are invited to stay for a mystery second feature, personally programmed by Rodriguez and revealed only at showtime.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with the event beginning at 7 p.m.
