West Chelsea Contemporary will host an exhibition, “Salvador Dalí: Masterpieces from the Argillet Collection Archives,” from January 11 to February 2, 2025. Featuring over 100 rare hand-colored etchings and debuting never-before-seen originals, the exhibition highlights Dalí’s surrealist imagination through his collaboration with publisher Pierre Argillet, whose archive is overseen by his daughter Christine Argillet.
The exhibit offers an intimate glimpse into Dalí’s creative process and legacy, alongside works from Surrealist contemporaries like Hans Bellmer and Man Ray. This unprecedented showcase celebrates Dalí’s impact on art history and the centennial of Surrealism, with select works available for acquisition.
