Celebrating the upcoming release of her new album “Deja Vu,” the Sarah Sharp Quintet will perform the record in full, in order. Enthusiastic accolades have followed Sharp throughout her career, including multiple awards for her singing and songwriting.
Her self-produced album “Phoebe’s Dream,” recorded with the Jitterbug Vipers, earned Sharp top-five placements in Austin Music Awards categories including Best Female Vocalist, Producer, Songwriter, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Band of the Year and Best Jazz Band. Sharp has twice received the Black Fret Award — now known as the Sonic Guild Award — which supports the creation and performance of extraordinary new music, once as a member of the Jitterbug Vipers and once as a solo artist.
The evening will be recorded as a live taping, with a whisper policy enforced. Cold still and sparkling water will be available for purchase; the event is BYOB, with ice, wine keys and 9-ounce cups provided.
